1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create a QuestDen account. By using the app, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of any children added to your household and that you have the authority to make decisions about their participation.
2. Your account
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and parent PIN. Notify us at support@questden.app if you suspect unauthorized access. You agree to provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
3. Family household and child profiles
You may add children to your household using a first name and an avatar. Children do not have separate accounts and cannot independently access the app outside your household. You retain full control over child profile data and may edit or delete it at any time from Settings.
4. Subscriptions and payments
QuestDen offers a 14-day free trial followed by a paid subscription. Available plans include:
- Monthly — $7.99 / month for 1 child, with small per-child fees for additional children
- Yearly — $59.99 / year for 1 child, with small per-child fees for additional children
- Lifetime — $149.99 one-time for 1 child, with small per-child fees for additional children
Subscriptions on iPhone and iPad are processed through Apple In-App Purchase using the payment method on your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings.
5. Apple-specific terms
Your use of QuestDen on iPhone and iPad is subject to Apple’s standard End User License Agreement. Apple is not responsible for QuestDen, its content, or its support. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use QuestDen for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to access, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the app’s systems
- Use the app in a way that could harm other users or QuestDen LLC
- Share your account credentials with anyone outside your immediate family
- Use the app to harm, deceive, or manipulate a child
7. Content and intellectual property
QuestDen, its design, content, code, and brand are owned by QuestDen LLC. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal family use. You retain ownership of any content you create within your household (chore names, reward descriptions, notes to your child), and you grant us a limited license to store and process this content solely to provide the service to you.
8. Service availability
We aim to keep QuestDen running smoothly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will notify you of material changes before they take effect when reasonably possible.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
QuestDen is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, secure, or meet your specific needs. You use QuestDen at your own discretion.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuestDen LLC, its officers, employees, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim related to QuestDen will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
You may stop using QuestDen at any time by deleting your account from Settings or by emailing support@questden.app. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or use the app in a way that harms us, other users, or third parties.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified inside the app or by email at least 7 days before they take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Virginia, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.
